i'm not so pro too and from bad feedbacks i become better then i was on begin!

 

/ontopic i like effects on render and i think will be better if you put some efects or something on background to make it don't look so empty!

You should modify the render a bit, if you look better the 30% of it is white up there, try changing the theme or something! You could also move the text upper and have a subtext with something,etc.
